Larger and More Easily Readable Display

Boasting a display 30% larger than it's predecessor for dramatically improved visibility, the MA-2 features a digital needle that moves from left to right for visual indication of the beat to accompany the audible indication. The beat position, and the timing at which the measure changes is conveniently displayed via a triangular icon.

Enhanced Volume and Crisp Sound for Easier Detection

Featuring an electronic buzzer with an updated design, the MA-2 delivers a more powerful and easily audible sound that cuts right through high frequencies and high-volume instruments.

Equipped with "Timer Mode" and "Sound Out Mode" for Daily Practicing

Providing more than just a basic metronome function, the MA-2 also features "timer mode" and a "sound out mode" that are handy tools during daily rehearsals. Select between these two at a single touch of the MODE button:

• Timer Mode - When the specified time elapses, the metronome stops and sounds an alarm. This can be set in one minute increments from one minute to 120 minutes, making it a perfect tool for warming up or practicing the basics.
• Sound Out Mode - The integrated speaker emits a reference tone as a guide for tuning. Featuring a selectable reference tone in the one-octave range of C4 to B4, the reference frequency of A4 (calibration) is adjustable in 1Hz increments from 410Hz to 480Hz.

All-New Body Design & Improved Functionality

With the included folding stand, the MA-2 conveniently stands on it's own in any easily visible location. With a sliding battery cover that is designed as a single piece with the main unit, you're never in danger of losing the battery cover when replacing the batteries.

Up to 400 Hours of Continuous Use

Boasting a whopping 400 hours of continuous operation when using alkaline batteries, the MA-2 displays a battery indicator on screen when the remaining battery power is running low, for a clear indication of when the batteries should be replaced. This is a brilliant feature for extended rehearsal sessions, leaving you to focus more on the performance at hand, and less on the battery life of your equipment.
