The Jackson American Series is the next chapter in Jackson's storied tradition, marking the first made-in-Corona flagship product line for the brand. The American SL2's alder body features a sustain-enhancing through-body three-piece maple neck and is equipped with a pair of graphite-reinforcement rods for ultimate stability against bending and deforming due to temperature and humidity. Rolled ebony fingerboard with a 12" to 16" compound radius featuring 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and inverse mother of pearl sharkfin inlays. Providing that easy speed and altitude perfect for high-speed technical playing. The neck is more curved by the nut for comfortable chording, flattening out the neck for fast playing and bends without fretting out. Glow-in-the-dark Luminlay® side dots ensure superior fingerboard control even on the darkest stages, and a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick neck relief adjustments on the fly. Featuring a pair of rugged EMG® 81 and EMG 85 humbucking pickups, this frighteningly powerful instrument packs a confident punch while retaining the sonic definition and clarity that's so important to modern metal. Enhancing your sonic performance with a versatile 3-way blade pickup switch and single volume and tone controls. Other great features include a Floyd Rose® 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system, Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners, and Dunlop® double-locking strap buttons for reliable tuning stability during bold, aggressive thunderous performances. Designed with our trademark metal style, the American Series Soloist SL2MG comes in Satin Black, Satin Lambo Orange and Matte Army Drab finishes with color matched Jackson pointy headstocks and black hardware.
