Inspired by the original 1960's Harmony H72, the Comet represents the very first semi-hollow electric guitar in Harmony's catalog of coveted musical instruments.

Features
  • Semi-Hollow Body - The caved top and back give the Comet a warm tone and acoustic properties, while the long-tenon set-neck maximizes sustain
  • Premium Tonewoods - Authentic Mahogany is known for it's lush and round sonic characteristics, and was specially sourced to craft this instrument.
  • Six-In-Line Headstock - The Comet has a unique six-in-line headstock, reminiscent of the original H72, setting it apart from other hollow-body guitars.
  • Harmony Gold Foil Humbuckers - These pickups are custom-voiced and hand-wound, delivering articulate, well-balanced tone.
  • Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish - A classic, and distinctive finish that boasts deep hues and a shining gloss that ages gracefully over time.
  • Premium Hardware - To enhance the tonal qualities of the Comet, Harmony added a Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, locking tuners and cupcake knobs.

Featuring a stunning carved genuine Mahogany top and back for warm, well-balanced, acoustic-like guitar tone, the addition of a center block alleviates feedback and the long-tenon neck maximizes sustain.

For players who love rock, blues and more, the custom Gold Foil humbuckers provide pure musical enjoyment, and a push/pull master pot expands the tonal palette of the Comet by enabling outstanding out-of-phase sounds.

Paying tribute to the original H72's classic aesthetic, the Comet's six-in-line headstock gives it a unique flair, and premium hardware guarantees that the Comet will age with grace.
