The ES-335 is the world's first semi-hollow guitar model. It was conceived by former Gibson president Ted McCarty, who later called it his proudest contribution. Since its debut, it has been played by a wide variety of guitarists, including B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Larry Carlton, and Warren Haynes. Gibson Custom Shop is proud to present a limited edition reissue of the 1958 ES-335 with Murphy Labs Light Aging, a classic tri-burst finish, a large, rounded 1958 neck profile, and an unbound fingerboard. This is a feature -only- available on the ES-335. These exceptional guitars are limited to 130 of each finish in celebration of Gibson's 130th anniversary and come with a brown and pink 5-lock Lifton™ case.
