Description

Widely considered to be the world's most iconic acoustic guitar since it's inception in 1937, the Gibson SJ-200 has earned the moniker of King of the Flat-Tops. Popular amongst American artists, the Super Jumbo is one of the most commonly used acoustic guitars ever built. Capturing all the vibe, feel and vintage mystique of the era that gave rise to some of Gibson's most famed acoustic instruments, the all-new Custom Shop 1957 SJ-200 is constructed with hand-selected Maple back and sides, classic Gibson headstock and an exclusive thermally aged top for immersive vintage mojo. Finished with Light Aging courtesy of Murphy Lab's master artisans, this guitar is a true American original in both shape, and it's sophisticated appearance. Combining lightly aged hardware with a gorgeous Light Aging finish by the Murphy Lab's master craftsmen, the 1957 SJ-200 faithfully simulates decades of light play wear, giving it the unique mojo of a vintage example from the Golden Era of Gibson.
