The flagship model of the Gibson Custom Shop, the Les Paul Custom maintains the high standards of its 1950s original while evolving to a level of sound and performance better suited to the demands of today's music. Beneath the covers of it's "tuxedo" features is a matching edgy 490/498 humbucker set, a solid ebony fretboard, a long-neck tenon for maximum sustain, and a two-piece maple top on a solid mahogany body. It packs a perfect level of sonic punch, excellent for jazz to hard rock and beyond. It sounds as good as it looks, and it looks as good as it sounds!
