Dual Falcon brings back the Gibson amp icon, delivering vintage sound reimagined with improved two-channel playback, with rare new features and all the magic of the original. Perfect timbre enhancements extend the Sparse control's wider and more usable range, updating tone and feel, and rich traditional spring reverb adds dimension and expands your stylistic range. The original smooth-sounding tremolo adds further tuning, and selectable output power options extend versatility with full, half, or low power mode options per channel. Additionally, a buffered series effects loop opens up further processing options and completes the instrument for performance applications. These updates allow the new Dual Falcon to outperform even the most prized vintage Gibson examples. Inspired by the Gibson Falcon amps of the 1960s, this all-new design from renowned amplifier pioneer Randall Smith and the MESA/Boogie design team is handcrafted in Petaluma, California, and offers a new level of low-power sound. The Dual Falcon 2x10 Combo differs from previous generations due to design and sonic improvements brought about by Randall's 50 years of tube amplifier design and performance improvement ideology. It gives truly amazing results. Players of all generations and musical genres will appreciate the Dual Falcon's vintage tone, enhanced dynamics, and well-behaved bass, while enjoying the added flexibility of style control and the breadth that reverb brings to the soundscape. Three selectable power options allow you to individually fine-tune the clip threshold and volume level for each channel, and a pair of the 10-inch Jensen® Blackbird 40 Alnico speakers perfectly reproduce every ounce of that sound thus creating the ultimate vintage 2x10 inch combo! Dual Falcon offers two-channel flexibility with a focus on great sound and ease of use. The very simple and pure signal path design of each channel features volume, tone, and footswitchable reverb controls, as well as a footswitchable tremolo with global speed and depth controls for a three-dimensional effect. The movement, greatly increasing the enjoyment and usefulness of the amp with a wide range of music styles. Knowledgeable players have long known that one of the secrets to great overdriven sound is power amp overdrive. A low output amp is the key to increasing your power amp's overdrive and getting the boosted sound of your power amp without needing overwhelming volume levels. For those who demand touch sensitivity and dynamic nuance at the low-to-mid end of the gain spectrum, and crave the classic "controlled implosion" at the extremes, the cathode driver is fitted with a pair of 6L6 power tubes (or Optional, smaller 6V6s without modification) this amp's performance will exceed all expectations. Sonically and physically, the Dual Falcon 2x10 Combo moves confidently between home and venue, via two footswitchable channels with a pair of simple volume and tone controls. With instant access to warm cleans and guttural overdrive, you'll have the perfect performance level to please and convince everyone.
