By the 80's, this iconic model had made a name for itself, and found itself in the hands of some of the most prolific players of the decade. Introducing the Gibson 80s Explorer - a new model that pays tribute to the revered 1984 model. Featuring a fast-playing SlimTaper Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard, a Mahogany body boasting the iconic shape, loaded with all new 80s Tribute pickups that recreate the unique, thick tone and rich sustain of the models from that era.
