The Fender® American Ultra II Jazz Bass® features a body made from select alder with sculpted contours. The quarter-sawn maple neck features a modern D-profile and a smooth Ultra Satin finish for effortless playing. Ebony or quarter-sawn maple fingerboard with 10-14" radius with Ultra Rolled Edges, medium jumbo frets, side Luminlay® dots and Graph Tech® TUSQ® nuts. Tapered neck heel and sculpted body contours allow for unparalleled access to the high register, while convenient headstock truss rod access allows for easy setup and adjustments. Equipped with a set of custom-designed Ultra II Noiseless™ Vintage Jazz Bass pickups, this bass delivers an incredible range of tonal range, from vintage warmth to modern snap, without any noticeable hum. A redesigned preamp provides unprecedented control and unlocks limitless sonic possibilities. Key features include S-1™ active/passive switching, passive tone control and a 3-band active EQ with switchable midrange frequency. Other road-ready features include an adjustable HiMass™ top-load or string-through-body bridge, lightweight Fender tapered-shaft tuners, knurled aluminum knobs and a single-ply anodised aluminum pickguard. The American Ultra II Jazz Bass combines iconic style with advanced features to take your playing to stratospheric new heights.
