Both our Myaree and Wangara stores are open 9–5:30pm Monday – Friday, with Myaree open 9–7pm Thursdays, both stores 9–5pm on Saturday and closed on Sundays.

Click and collect is a service offered at both store locations, which may require stock to be moved between stores or from the warehouse, as such we request that if you have ordered online, to please wait for a confirmation message before heading to the store.

If stock is only indicated at our warehouse location it can still be transferred to your desired store, even if you just want to try it, just get in touch with your desired store during store opening hours and make a request!

Description

The biggest factor that sets Evetts drums apart from the rest is their handcrafted shells - each of their drums start with shells pressed in-house at Evetts, and made from native Australian hardwoods selected for their distinct tonal characteristics.

Jarrah Shell

This snare drum features a shell constructed from Jarrah, a wood with a more responsive mid-range compared to Tasmanian Blackwood, while maintaining a punchy and powerful low-end. With a dominant attack and loud projection, this snare's uniquely woody mid-range bark blends beautifully with the metallic high-end tone - a perfect combination for snare drums that produces a tone reminiscent of steel snare drums. The distinct and striking visual of Jarrah ranges from a light red or brown to a deeper brick red.

45° Bearing Edge

At Evetts, they realise that, while the drum shell might be the backbone of your sound, the bearing edge and profile are responsible for amplifying that voice and projecting your unique tone. The 45° bearing edge of this snare drum makes minimal contact with the drum head to allow for a resonant and woody tone, with open and full-bodied sustain. Boasting a wide tuning range, the resonant tone makes for an incredibly versatile snare drum, that's suited for a range of musical genres and playing styles.
