Meet Gary — EarthQuaker Devices’ wildest creation yet, built in collaboration with Lee Kiernan of IDLES. What began as a request for a compact version of the Gray Channel® evolved into something much more unruly: a dual-drive monster pairing searing op-amp overdrive with an aggressive, pulse-width modulated fuzz.

On the overdrive side, Go controls the gain — from subtle boost to thick distortion — while That’s It handles the master volume. The fuzz side cranks things up with Yes!, an envelope-sensitive control that shapes the intensity and texture of a square wave fuzz that responds to your dynamics. Oosh dials in the fuzz volume, letting you match or crush whatever’s in your signal path.

With independent footswitches for both effects, Gary is two sonic beasts in one compact, stage-ready box. Whether you're stacking both for pure mayhem or dialing in each side for contrast and character, Gary’s got the power, the punch, and the personality to turn heads and melt amps.

Please note: This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES.
