The Performance series sounds and looks exactly what you'd expect from DW - inspired by their Custom Shop drums, these drums feature a new Quarter Turret lug, low mass die-cast claw hooks, updated badge, and a logo head in a stunning finish. These shells are incredibly easy to tune thanks to the True Pitch tuning system, and the superior sounding HVX shells in combination with REMO USA heads, STM (Suspension Tom Mounts), and DW back-cut 45° bearing edges make these drums sing proudly, and are sure to turn heads!
Maple HVX Shells
Designed by the DW Custom Shell Shop in California in collaboration with John Good, the DW Performance Series offers a cutting-edge new shell technology. Combining the latest grain orientation technology and select North American Hard Rock Maple, the exclusive HVX shells in the Performance Series deliver a low, punchy thump that is very responsive, with plenty of resonance and projection, a perfect match for playing in live settings.
