The ideal compliment to the eclectic style of TOOL's bassist Justin Chancellor, this pedal allows you to go above and beyond the conventional boundaries of your instrument, to compose multi-dimensional sounds and textures.

Featuring two tone-warpingly unique variations on a theme, the Justin Chancellor Cry Baby Wah features both U.K. Filter and Wah modes:

• U.K. Filter: Thick and Throaty - Using a custom solid-state circuit designed to replicate the distinct envelope-like filtering of the tone control on Justin's very instrument, the U.K. Filter mode is thick and vocal, with pronounced peaks - nailing the melodic, vocal phrasing from the Tool song "The Patient". Combining this with the integrated fuzz circuit, the U.K. Filter almost ventures into synth territory!
• Wah: Brilliant. Aggressive. Lush. - For those looking for a more traditional character, the Wah mode utilizes the iconic red Fasel Inductor and the circuitry of a modified Cry Baby Wah, delivering a more aggressive tone with gloriously rich harmonics. When using this mode with the integrated Fuzz circuit, this mode cuts through the mix with authority.

Shape Your Voice. Hold Down the Low End.

With individual Volume and Q controls, each mode of the Justin Chancellor Cry Baby is customizable, allowing you to transition between the two with a simple stomp on the Wah Select footswitch. The custom circuitry of both modes retains the thickness and weight of the low end by blending in a clean signal with a 400Hz boost with the effected signal at the start of the rocker's travel.

Vintage Fuzz.

Featuring Justin's fuzz of choice, the Fuzz circuit in this pedal is based on a fierce vintage device from the UK. Cutting through the mix with a tighter focus than most other circuits of this type, this fuzz maintains the signal's tremendous weight. By default, the fuzz is only in the chain when using the rocker pedal, giving both U.K. Filter and Wah modes the perfect compliment of harmonic content to emphasize for crushing, yet musical passages that Justin is known for - and if you want to use the Fuzz alone, simply kick the switch on the side for standalone Fuzz operation.
