Description

This Custom CTS 'USA spec' 500K Precision Linear Taper Pot provides a smooth and accurate response compared to economy pots. Boasts a brass shaft and tighter resistance tolerance for a longer lifespan and increased reliability.

Which pot value should you choose?

500K is the common value for humbucker pots, and 250Ks are often used for single-coil pickups. A 250K provides a tone that is slightly warmer than a 500K, and bleeds off some of the high frequencies to ground.

  • USA spec thread: 3/8" x 32.
  • 3/8" (9.5mm) diameter brass threaded collar.
  • 24 spline (fine) brass split shaft.
  • Includes 1 x nut, 1 x dress washer and 1 x lock washer.
Dimensions:
  • The brass threaded collar: 12.5mm long.
  • Total length of the shaft to the top of the spline: 22.2mm.
  • Split shaft diameter: 6mm.
  • Pot casing diameter: 24mm.
