The DM-101 gives you access to cleaner sounds and longer delay times in along with traditional tones, taking analog delay into uncharted territory like never before. Using eight 2048-stage BBDs in place of the more traditional 4096-stage BBD, and tuning them with targeted CPU control, BOSS has achieved a superior range of sound without sacrificing all the characteristics that guitarists adore about analog BBD stompboxes.

Sounds from Vintage to Modern

Transitioning seamlessly from dirty, vintage echoes to modern analog delays with brilliant high-end detail and clarity, the DM-101 features internal circuit components that are switched to define each of the 12 modes, even the number of active BBDs and their order of connection, low-pass filter parameters and clocking rates. By using the Variation knob, players can scroll through settings unique to each different mode, and by cranking the Intensity knob, can effortlessly send delays into distorted self-oscillation.

Stereo Delays with True Analog Warmth

Thanks to advanced CPU control, the DM-101 is able to realize elaborate stereo sounds not available using other BBD analog delays - in Pan mode, each BBD and it's feedback loop is routed to different points in the stereo field, while Dual Mod shifts the modulation phase for each output to deliver a wide and immersive delay effect. Six of the 12 modes support stereo operation, delivering anything from short reflections reminiscent of reverb, to transforming modulated delays, and rhythmic pattern delays for a percussive effect.

Complete Creative Command

Giving you all the creative advantages of an advanced delay pedal, the DM-101 features tap tempo and note subdivision on most modes, spillover to allow repeats to decay naturally when the effect is bypassed, four onboard memories to store and recall your favorite settings, and expanded control capabilities with connectivity for an external footswitch or expression pedal. Get remote access to 127 user memories using the convenient MIDI I/O, along with MIDI sync and more. By default, the audio outputs are preset for mixed operation, but can be effortlessly reconfigured to suit wet/dry rigs and wet-only parallel setups.
