A special ’57-inspired Stratocaster from the Fender Custom Shop Rosewood Collection, this Limited Edition build combines classic Strat architecture with the unusual luxury of a rosewood neck. The Wide-Fade Chocolate 2-Color Sunburst is finished in DLX Closet Classic lacquer, giving the guitar the subtly aged appearance of a carefully preserved vintage instrument.
A two-piece select alder body is paired with a rosewood neck and 3A rosewood fingerboard, carved to a 1957 Soft “V” profile. The 9.5-inch radius and 21 Narrow Tall 6105 frets offer a more accommodating playing surface than a strict vintage recreation. Hand-wound Fat ’50s Strat pickups with an RWRP middle pickup, Fat ’50s Strat wiring and a five-way switch provide the familiar bell-like cleans, quack and punch associated with a great ’50s-style Strat. Gold anodized pickguard, vintage-style synchronized tremolo and nickel/chrome hardware complete the build. Includes Deluxe Hardshell Case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
