A hard-worn take on one of Fender’s earliest solid-body designs, this Custom Shop 1951 Telecaster combines a Super Heavy Relic lacquer finish with a Super Faded Aged Nocaster Blonde colour for the look and feel of a guitar that has spent decades on the road. Underneath is a two-piece select ash body and a striking one-piece 4A flame quartersawn maple neck carved to a substantial 1951 “U” profile.
The 7.25-inch to 12-inch compound radius and 21 Narrow Tall 6105 frets blend vintage character with easier modern playability across the neck. Hand-wound ’51 Nocaster pickups and modified ’51 Nocaster wiring deliver the direct, dynamic Tele response associated with early Fender instruments. Period-minded details include a three-way blade switch, black phenolic pickguard, ’51 Nocaster bridge with brass saddles and vintage-style Fender tuners. Includes Deluxe Hardshell Case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
