The Gibson Songwriter Recording Artist acoustic guitar delivers a powerful blend of heritage, craftsmanship, and refined musical character, carrying forward the legacy of one of Gibson’s most distinctive modern acoustic designs. Inspired by the brand’s rich acoustic history, it offers a commanding, expressive sound that brings depth and unmistakable Gibson character to every performance.

  • Gibson’s traditional scalloped Advanced X-bracing
  • Mahogany neck with a comfortable Round profile and 25.5" scale length 
  • Bound ebony fretboard with 20 standard frets and elegant mother-of-pearl diamond eye inlays 
  • Compound dovetail neck joint secured with hot hide glue 
  • Premium appointments include a bone nut, gold Grover open-back tuners, an ebony bridge, bone saddle, TUSQ bridge pins, and mother-of-pearl headstock details.
  • Custom-voiced LR Baggs HiFi DNA active pickup system uses dual bridge-plate sensors and dedicated preamps
