Together with the electronics he developed, he has managed to raise the well-known J-bass sound to a new level, so that today one can speak of a typical Sadowsky tone: Never harsh sounding, with deep, defined, by no means dull basses, present, but not intrusive mids as well as sweet and airy highs. All features of this modern bass sound can also be found in the 21-Fret Vintage J/J basses of the MetroExpress series. All basses have a maximum weight of 4.3 kg and are therefore also interesting for bassists who are looking for a modern bass sound as well as a lightweight solution for the stage. This version of the Sadowsky Vintage J/J bass in a high gloss solid black high polish finish has a maple fingerboard and is equipped in this color combination with a Tortoise pickguard.

Sadowsky MetroExpress 21-Fret Vintage J/J Bass

Right-handed version

4-string electric bass

34" (864 mm) scale length

Screwed neck (bolt-on construction)

Okume body

Maple neck

Maple fingerboard

12" Fingerboard Radius

Sadowsky Just-A-Nut III Saddle

38.5 mm nut width

21 Nickel silver frets (width: 2.4 mm / height: 1.3 mm)

Passive Sadowsky J-Style pickup (neck)

Passive Sadowsky J-Style pickup (bridge)

Active Sadowsky 2-way electronics

Controls for Volume / Balance / Treble / Bass

Sadowsky Light mechanics with open gearbox

String spacing 60 mm

Sadowsky S-Style Security Locks

Sadowsky bridge with quick release for the strings

Chrome Hardware

Covered with 045 - 105 Stainless Steel strings

Solid Black High Polish Finish

Weight max. 4.3 kg

Incl. hexagon key set

Incl.
