At that time, only locally grown tonewoods were used - it was only much later that international trade, including tropical forests, began to replace decades of tried and tested domestic timber.

In essence, the ECOLOGÍA series is based on these old traditions and is thus ecologically up to date. Not a single piece of tropical wood is used. Instead, European woods such as spruce, walnut, maple and acacia are used. Furthermore, only water-based eco-matt lacquer is used. This overall ecologically sustainable design clearly sets the ECOLOGÍA series apart from other guitars.

In terms of sound, the instruments, which are handmade in Europe, are moderately tuned and designed for a balanced sound. This is ensured, among other things, by the traditional neck construction with dovetail joint, which guarantees not only high stability but also very good vibration transmission.

A special feature of all Manuel Rodríguez 4/4 guitars is the GEWA armrest, which offers two definite advantages: With its rounded shape, it ensures a particularly pleasant playing feel and allows the top to vibrate freely over the entire surface, as it prevents damping by the right arm being placed on top.

More sound, more comfort.

German-made Hannabach 815HTC strings are wound at the factory and round off the sound concept of this series perfectly.

The instruments of the Manuel Rodríguez ECOLOGÍA series are available in all five commercially available sizes up to the small 1/4 guitar.

Features

European woods such as spruce, walnut, maple and acacia are used

Handmade in Germany

Ecologically sustainable design

Traditional neck construction with dovetail joint, which guarantees not only high stability but also very good vibration transmission

GEWA armrest

Specifications

Manuel Rodríguez ECOLOGÍA E-65

4/4 size for children from approx. 14 years, and adults

Scale length 650 mm, nut width 52 mm

Solid spruce top

Walnut back and sides

Real wooden edge on top and sides

Maple neck with acacia fingerboard and bridge

Dovetail neck-body joint

Walnut headstock rest

Bonoid synthetic nut and bridge inlay

Traditional acacia 6-hole bridge

Factory-fitted GEWA armrest

Wooden soundhole mosaic

Van Gent machine head, made in Holland, without lyre, nickel plated with black shafts and buttons

Strings: Hannabach 815HTC special set with CARBON trebles, high tension, made in Germany

Environmentally friendly, water-based varnish, open pore, satin finish

Weight approx. 1.6kg/3.53lbs

Made in Europe

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0953/3793/9232/files/MR501076-1_eb1cdcc4-c025-47b6-ad26-95838d9f9235.png?v=1762325929
https://megamusiconline.com.au/products/mr-501076-manuel-rodriguez-ecologia-e-65-4-4-solid-spruce-and-walnut-classical-guitar
