Its three-piece mahogany and walnut neck is joined with an authentic dovetail joint and topped with an Indian rosewood fingerboard for smooth, articulate playability. Elegant vintage details include a tortoiseshell pickguard, classic rosette and binding, nickel open-gear tuners, and a headstock adorned with a genuine mother-of-pearl Guild peak and Chesterfield logo. Finished in hand-applied nitrocellulose lacquer, the D-40 Traditional is designed to age beautifully and resonate freely.
