The fully soldered P sets use Alnico V pole pieces and custom-wound coils for just the right amount of punch and bite. The J (PJ set) also uses Alnico 5-pole and features two specially wound split coils. This eliminates the hiss and hum typically associated with early 70's bass pickups, gives it more power and volume than other standard single coil J's, and creates a surprising balance between the P and J. The result is that distinctive early Geezer Butler bass tone with deep, tight lows as heard on 1970's songs like "Iron Man," "War Pigs" and "Paranoid."

“I never felt comfortable giving my name to any other pickups, but this time these have blown me away.” - Geezer Butler

Features

Powerful and rich in midrange tone

Hot Jaguar

USA Designed and Made

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0953/3793/9232/files/EMGGZRPHZBK-1_29b49338-c5ad-4557-a649-82a13b2c85ef.png?v=1762320438
