These tuners are not only extremely precise and super comfortable to use, they also allow you to hide the sharp string ends inside the tuner shaft, so they don't damage your case, gigbag or fingertips.

Neck and Fretboard

Duesenberg's clever plek process allows for an unusually low action while still keeping all notes clean and clear without string-buzz.

The string-action, the height of the strings over the frets, can only be set low and comfortable if all frets are precisely the same height. To achieve that, we use the ingeniuos Plek machine that levels all frets with a precision of 1/100 of a millimeter. Each fret is measured and cut individually to achieve optimal playability of the instrument.

Our elaborate finishing work is done entirely by hand. Each fret is polished to perfection and all fretboard edges are carefully rounded off for a smooth feel.

This all is our promise to you that a Duesenberg will always feel great in your hands.

Pickups

Duesenberg pickups are known for their distinct, clear and versatile tone that easily cuts through the mix from mellow, jazz to supercharged rock. Our creamy Domino P90 in the neck position and the classically voiced GrandVintage Humbucker at the bridge form an all-around dream team many have tried to replicate.

The acclaimed middle position of the Heavy Duty 3-Way Switch features a special wiring which filters certain low-end frequencies out of the humbucker signal. The result is an open, funky and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of tone.

Features

CONSTRUCTION

Semi-Hollow with centerblock for a unique tonal response and improved feedback resistance.

PICKUPS

The GrandVintage Humbucker and Domino P90 deliver maximum flexibility and an ingenious wiring.

VIBRATO UNIT

The Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola is the pinnacle of modern classic vibrato design and reliability.

SCALE LENGTH

The longer 25.5" scale length provides snappy response, defined bass frequencies and a tight feel.

PLEK PROCESSED

Plek processed for an impeccable setup and comfortably low action without fret-buzz.

CUSTOM STRINGS

Our Custom 10/50 factory strings provide tight bass feel while keeping the high notes easy to play.

Specifications

Neck

Type: Set Neck, 1-piece Maple

Width: 42.5 mm / 1.67" (nut), 52 mm / 2.05" (12th fret)

Thickness: 21 mm / 0.8" (1st fret), 24 mm / 0.95" (12th fret)

Shape: Medium D

Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood, radius 305 mm / 12"

Inlays: Cream dots

Frets: 22 Jumbo 2.8 x 1.0 mm

Scale length: 648 mm / 25.5"

Trussrod: Steel dual-action

Headstock: Black

Body

Type: Semi-hollow with sustain block, bent sides, f-hole

Top: Laminated spruce

Back, sides: Laminated flamed maple

Dimensions: 46 x 34 cm / 18.11" x 13.38"

Height (sides): 4.5 cm / 1.8"

Binding: Cream

Pickguard: Sparkle, Black/Gold Custom or nickel-plated brass (depending on the model)

Finish: PUR lacquer (Polyester used on Sparkle, Pearl and Pearloid tops).
