6042540-ibanez-jbm27-jake-bowen-signature-7-string-electric-guitar
Ibanez JBM27 Jake Bowen Signature 7-String Electric Guitar
The JBM27's three-piece Maple Wizard II-7 neck provides smooth access to the upper frets and long sustain. The JBM27 features a mahogany body with a maple top and a bound Jatoba fingerboard with jumbo frets with Jake's own custom inlay at the 12th fret. Additionally, it has an upside-down headstock that provides another visual distinction. Given the strain that peripherals put on the instrument, it was very important to Bowen to have an easy-to-adjust and highly stable tremolo system.

Jake chose the Ibanez Edge Zero II-7 bridge not only for its impressive and reliable performance, but also because it keeps his picking hand from touching it. Gotoh MG-T locking tuners ensure superior tuning stability and make string changes quicker. The JBM27 also features Bowen's signature DiMarzio Titan 7 pickups, which DiMarzio developed under Jake's close tutelage. Bowen describes it as "the perfect combination of tight and aggressive." The JBM27 is tuned to drop G# (1D#, 2A#, 3F#, 4C#, 5G#, 6D#, 7G#) and comes with a soft case.

Features

Rosewood Fretboard w/JBM Special Inlay

Rosewood provides a well-balanced solid tone with a focused mid range.

Wizard II 3pc Maple/Bubinga neck

Ibanez's thin, flat and fast Wizard neck is strong and sturdy and offers unlimited playability for demanding players.

DiMarzio® Titan™ pickups

Jake's signature DiMarzio® Titan™ pickups provide the perfect combination of tight and aggressive.

Edge-Zero II tremolo

The Edge Zero II bridge design features a lower profile tremolo for playing comfort and stud lock function for stable tuning.

Specifications

Neck type Wizard II-73pc Maple/Bubinga neck

Top/back/body Maple topNyatoh body

Fretboard Rosewood fretboardJBM special inlay on 12th fret inlay

Fret Jumbo frets

Number of frets 24

Bridge Edge-Zero II-7 bridge

String space 10.8mm

Neck pickup DiMarzio® Titan 7 ™ (H) neck pickupPassive/Ceramic

Bridge pickup DiMarzio® Titan 7 ™ (H) bridge pickupPassive/Ceramic

Factory tuning 1D#,2A#,3F#,4C#,5G#,6D#,7G#

Strings D'Addario® EXL116+.064

String gauge .011/.014/.018/.030/.042/.052/.064

Nut Locking nut

Hardware color Black (Gold machine heads)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0953/3793/9232/files/6042540_b92f251a-6eab-4312-9aa2-e2f145cfd273.jpg?v=1762323744
https://megamusiconline.com.au/products/6042540-ibanez-jbm27-jake-bowen-signature-7-string-electric-guitar
