Finished with a nitrocellulose finish, this alder body features a "belly cut" for superior comfort during long sets. Designed for speed, the 25.5" scale maple neck features a 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets for fierce leads and silky bends. Mother-of-pearl block inlays add an unexpected luxury feel to this Tele®. It's a workhorse, but that doesn't mean it can't look good. The real magic is in the pickups. Two custom Chris Shiflett "Cleaver" Noiseless CS-90 pickups combine the throaty midrange punch and singing highs of a vintage single coil with powerful performance, all without any hum. "F" style tuners, bone nut and wing string tree with nylon spacers ensure proper tuning even in marathon sets, while a through-body hardtail bridge improves resonance and sustain.

The Chris Shiflett Cleaver Telecaster® Deluxe features rugged construction, versatile tone and a road-tested design that makes it a must-have for guitarists looking for dynamic, uncompromising tone. Plug it in and you're ready to carve your own path, anything, anywhere.

Features

Alder Body with Belly Cut

Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish with Matching Painted Headstock

Custom Oval "C"-Shaped Maple Neck

12” Radius Slab Rosewood Fingerboard with White Pearloid Block Inlays

Chris Shiflett “Cleaver” Noiseless™ CS-90 Pickups

Hardtail Stratocaster® Bridge with Bent Steel Saddles

Specifications

General

Series: Artist Signature

Orientation: Right-Hand

Colour: Dakota Red

Country Of Origin: US

Neck

Headstock: Large '70s Style

Neck Material: Maple

Neck Finish: Satin Nitrocellulose Lacquer with Gloss Matching Headstock

Neck Shape: Custom Oval "C"

Neck Construction: 4-Bolt

Fingerboard Radius: 12" (305 mm)

Fingerboard Material: Slab Rosewood

Position Inlays: White Pearloid Block

Side Dots: White Block

Number of Frets: 21

Truss Rod: Bullet Style

Truss Rod Nut: Bullet Style

String Nut: Bone

Nut Width: 1.650" (42 mm)

Nut Material: Bone

Body

Body: Alder

Body Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer

Body Shape: Telecaster®

Body Style: Solid Body

Body Material: Alder

Hardware

Bridge: Pure Vintage 6-Saddle String-Through Body Hardtail with Bent Steel Saddles

Bridge Mounting: 3-Screw Vintage-Style Hard-Tail

Pickguard: 3-Ply Mint Green

Pickup Covers: Black

Control Knobs: Skirted Black Plastic with Numbered Indicators

Switch Tip: Aged White

Hardware Finish: Nickel/Chrome

Tuning Machines: Pure Vintage Fender® “F” Stamped

String Trees: Single-Wing with Nylon Spacer

Strings: Fender® USA 250R Nickel Plated Steel (.010-.046 Gauges), PN 0730250406

Neck Plate: 4-Bolt with "F" Logo

Strap Buttons: Vintage-Style

Electronics

Bridge Pickup: Custom Chris Shiflett "Cleaver" Noiseless™ CS-90

Neck Pickup: Custom Chris Shiflett "Cleaver" Noiseless™ CS-90

Pickup Configuration: SS

Controls: Volume 1.
